Garmin ANT Agent le permite transferir datos de fitness desde dispositivos Garmin ANT compatibles hacia y desde su computadora. Garmin ANT Agent detecta cualquier dispositivo Garmin emparejado en el rango y descarga automáticamente los datos de fitness a su computadora y transfiere los datos a Garmin Connect.

I am puzzled,
It has been years that I have used Garmin software on my iMac with luck and ..... not so much. Somehow the ANT Agent software that allows the data transfer from a Garmin device directly to their website, keeps on disappearing from my Application folder in the finder. I have no idea how many times I had to re-install it.
It is really no big deal, but does anybody know why ?

Works, but needs some work to make it more useful. Difficult to manage behavior, not many options.

my mac keeps periodically crashing too (kernel panic) after i installed the mac ant agent. might be a garmin or an apple bug. whichever it is, it might be a good idea to wait a little until potential problems have been ironed out....
also, automatic uploading to garmin connect did not work. when i tried to upload manually via the 'Upload' button on the garmin connect website, the browser plugin offers as datasources mounted removable devices as a SDHC card from my camera and a data volume mounted from my NAS but not my forerunner 405...
it worked loading the data into GTC, which is most important. i don't want to spend more time on investigating what went wrong with the garmin connect uploads as long as the kernel panic issue persists though.
